Your First Session
Every great recovery starts with understanding.
Welcome to prohuman Health family
Your First Session at Prohuman Health
Come as you are. We will begin from there.
Your first appointment is a conversation, an assessment, and the beginning of your recovery plan.
You do not need to understand exactly what is wrong before you arrive.
Tell us what you are feeling, what has changed, and what you want to return to doing. We will help connect the dots.
What Happens During Your First Session?
We Listen to Your Story
We begin by understanding your pain, health history, daily routine, previous treatment, and personal goals.
Please tell us anything you feel may be relevant, even if it seems unrelated.
We Explain What We Find
You will not leave with confusing medical language.
We will explain what may be contributing to your symptoms and help you understand how your body is responding.
We Create Your Recovery Plan
You will receive clear guidance about your treatment priorities, exercises, lifestyle modifications, and recommended next steps.
The plan will be personalized to your body and your life.
We Assess the Whole Body
Pain does not always begin where it is felt.
We may assess your posture, breathing, fascia, strength, mobility, foot mechanics, movement patterns, scars, and areas of compensation.
We Begin Treatment
Where appropriate, treatment begins during your first session.
The techniques selected will depend on your assessment, comfort, condition, and treatment goals.

Before You Arrive
This is a paragraph. Writing in paragraphs lets visitors find what they are looking for quickly and easily. Make sure the title suits the content of this text.
Wear something comfortable
Choose clothing that allows you to move freely and makes the affected area easier to assess.
Shorts, track pants, leggings, loose T-shirts, or sleeveless tops generally work well.
Bring your reports, if you have them
You may bring recent prescriptions, surgical notes, X-rays, MRI scans, blood reports, or other medical documents.
Do not worry if you do not have any reports. Your session can still begin with a detailed assessment.
Make a note of your questions
There is no such thing as an unimportant question.
Bring a list on your phone so that you leave the session with greater clarity.
Think about your goals
Recovery is not only about reducing pain.
Think about what the problem is stopping you from doing,
such as sleeping comfortably, returning to the gym, playing a sport, working without discomfort, travelling, or completing everyday activities.
Arrive a few minutes early
Arriving early gives you time to settle in and complete any required information without reducing your treatment time.
Your Comfort Matters
Some assessments may require us to observe or access the affected area, everything will happen with your knowledge and consent.
We will explain what we are assessing and why.
You may ask questions, request modifications, pause the assessment, or decline any technique at any time.
Clear communication and consent are central to a safe physiotherapy experience.
